Peter Vogel was born in Freiburg, Germany in 1937. His work has been exhibited since 1971 in one-man and group exhibitions in Europe and the United States. He is a graduate of the University of Freibug, where he majored in physics. He has a background as a painter and a composer of electronic music and worked several years in neurophysiological research and development at Hoffmann-LaRoche in Basel, Switzerland.
